Signs of Child Abuse

Physical signs-Unexplained bruises, burns, cuts or fractures

Behavioral Changes-Sudden shifts, such as, withdrawal, fearfulness, aggression, anxiety or depression

Neglect-Poor hygiene, dirty clothing, lack of proper nutrition, untreated medical issues or frequent absences from school

Emotional-Low self-esteem, developmental delays, excessive crying, being overly passive or overly demanding

How to report abuse
If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected-Don't Wait! You do not need proof, reasonable concern is enough to make a report. You can make a report the following ways above.

Create open communication-Encourage children to speak freely and let them know they will be heard and believed
