Safe Haven of Hope, Inc. was founded by Tiana Hawkins, whose heart has been deeply touched by the reality that too many children experience abuse and neglect each year. Tiana first felt called to help protect and advocate for vulnerable children back in 2010, and after many years of prayer, preparation, and purpose, she officially launched Safe Haven of Hope in 2023 — committed to saving lives and bringing hope where it’s needed most.
According to national data, hundreds of thousands of children in the United States are victims of abuse and neglect each year — with estimates from 2022 showing that approximately 558,899 children were confirmed as victims of abuse or neglect and millions more were the subject of protective services referrals. This heartbreaking reality highlights the urgent need for advocacy, education, and compassionate intervention.
Tiana’s vision is rooted in love, care, protection, and empowerment. She believes every child deserves a safe place to grow, laugh, heal, and realize their full potential — free from harm, fear, and violence. Safe Haven of Hope exists to bring that vision to life by supporting children, caregivers, and communities with a variety of programs designed to educate, uplift, and protect.
